
Huron Township Road Department
The Road Department is comprised of two (2) full-time employees, two (2) part-time summer employees, and three (3) part-time snowplow operators. The Department is responsible for the maintenance and safety of all public Township properties including three (3) cemeteries.
Road Department Office Hours:
“Winter period” (Labor Day – Memorial Day) 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
“Summer Period” (Memorial Day to Labor Day) 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Because the personnel are usually out of the office when on duty, messages should be left on the machine, and they will be returned as soon as possible.

Huron Township Cemeteries
Huron Township is part of the Cemetery Board which is composed of a representative from each of the three jurisdiction. This Board oversees three cemeteries; McMillen Cemetery, Main Street Cemetery and Scott Cemetery. Day to day operations are handled by the Cemetery Sexton Eric Boger. Mr. Boger can answer any questions you may have including but not limited to purchasing grave spaces and cemetery layout.
